On Tuesday 15th July, a tag rugby team from The Hill Primary School in Caversham, competed at the spiritual home of rugby, Twickenham Stadium, in the National Tag 2 Twickenham finals, achieving 10th place!
This is the first time that a team from The Hill has qualified for the National Finals. Earlier in the year, the team won the Reading tag rugby tournament at Reading School and then the Berkshire Finals at Bradfield College.
Paul Evans, MD of Redstor, coached the team along with Jamal Whyte of Brunel University. Paul’s involvement with the team is one of a number of activities undertaken with schools as part of its community outreach programme.
